Subject: Long delayed reply to Mr. Terbush

Dear Mr. Terbush,

I found your letter along with some of Julie Lobells recently in my files. I may not have answered all
your questions fully then so hear goes as of June 2017.

I am a Christian Jew, one who practices Judaism as a Christian. I have studied what you call Scientology
for many years, perhaps even in past lives. Also, my Mother and Father, for instance, probably knew
him in New York City in the late 1940s when he and see were both associated with the OSS, Office of
Strategic Services They however, did not and never even until their death become believers in what you
call Scientology. In the late 1960s some of I believe your flag officer representatives visited my mother
and me at my house in Vicksburg. They did not try to recruit mother again, just made the visit as
friends. They tried to interest me in it at that time but I had not had any courses in Philosophy or
Religion and wasn't interested. After I got my Doctorate of Philosophy in Mathematics in 1974 and came
to work in Washington DC as an US Army LT around 1976, I believe, I was walking around Washington
DC near where the Soviet Embassy used to be and a women from the building near the embassy
approached me and tried to engage me in an extended discussion about God and Religion. She was
successful and after about 2 hours of arguing, discussing this on the street she invited me into your
founding Church facilities there and I ended up buying 3 small books about Scientology, basically just to
get her to quit replying to everything I say with her auditing procedures, which I later learned were quite
complicated and dealt with any situation she might be confronted with in a potential convert. In order to
buy the books I had to give her my address. For, about 13 years after that until your letter I received a
lot of harassing flyers, basically designed to start up a discussion in order that you people could change
me into who you thought I was, a scientologist from way back, instead of who I knew I was, primarily,
that is first, a Christian Jew. But, I will give you, believing in life that you don't have to always be one
thing or the other, Christian Jew or Scientologist , that I probably was then and still am part
Scientologist and always will be. I hope you Scientologist also consider yourselves forever, part
Christians and Jews.

May God continue to bless us both together for long lives and prosperity.

SUBJECT CHANGING FOR THE BETTER

AS I EXPLAINED IN MY PREVIOUS LETTER, SPIRITUAL FREEDOM OR SALVATION WHICH IS "THE
CONSTITUTIVE ELEMENT OF THE DIGNITY OF OUR PERSONS" CF 1 IS ONLY A SECONDARY GOAL OF
OUR EXISTENCE, THE PRIMARY GOAL IS 'THE GLORY OF GOD ALIVE IN THE HUMAN PERSON OF MAN
AND WOMEN" CFS 2 3. HOWEVER, AS FAR AS I CAN TELL. THE SECONDARY GOAL IS NECESSARY FOR
THE REALIZAITON OF THE NUMBER ONE (PRIMARY) GOAL.

YOU MAY WONDER WHY WE CANNOT SIMPLY DENY THE EXISTENCE OF EVIL AND MAKE THE
SECONDARY GOAL UNNECESSARY? THE ANSWER IS THAT IF WE DO THIS WE ALLOW AN
IRREPLACEBALE PART OF OUR ETERNAL SELVES, OUR CONNECTION WITH CHRIST AND GOD TO BE
LOST AND DESTROYED.

YOU MAY ALSO WONDER WHY WE CANNOT DENY THE IMPORTANCE OF THE INDIVIDUAL AND
ELIMINATE THE PRIMARY GOAL? THE ANSWER IS THAT THERE IS ONE IMPORTANT THING THING
THAT A FALLABLE INDIVIDUAL HUMAN PERSON CAN DO THAT AN INFALLIBLE DIVINE LIGHT AND LAW
CANNOT. WE CAN CONFESS OUR MISTAKES AND HELP GOD GO BACK IN TIME AND SET THINGS
RIGHT IN PEOPLE'S LIVES. THIS MAY NOT BE THE EASIEST THING IN THE WORLD TO DO, BUT IT IS
THE MOST IMPORTANT. I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND THIS, BECAUSE I BELIEVE WHEN YOU DO YOU
WILL CONSIDER IT THE MOST WONDELFUL TRUTH IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN HELPING YOUR OWN TRUE SELF ACHEIVE VICTORY OVER DISHONESTY AND
DECEIT?
