“And, say, thus says the Lord God to Jerusalem [representing Israel]: Your
[spiritual] origin and your birth are thoroughly Canaanitish: your [spiritual
father] was an Amorite and your [spiritual] mother a Hittite.”

Ezekiel 16:3, Ezekiel 16:45, John 8:44

Some of the Many References by Cyrus Gordon

“A Scholar’s Odyssey”

Mr. Gordon’s conclusions, based on archeological evidence detailed in his
papers and books, and decades of research into oriental languages is that the
cultural and phonetic sources of our own Greek and Hebrew languages can be
traced back to the Hittites and Hurites for the Indo-European languages and
Urgarit [Amarna, Elba] for the Semitic. This evidence that he cites goes back
to at least 2200 BC. A different conclusion is put forward in many Masonic
texts [that it comes primary from ancient Egypt] and a recent article in the
Biblical Archeological Review [that it comes from metal traders in the Sinai
around 800BC]

“Forgotten Scripts”

“Before Columbus” This book puts forward the thesis that the sources of our
own Greek and Hebrew culture in the Middle East, Americas,Europe, India is
due the values, common alphabet, and language word meanings, brought by
ancient sea traders from the Middle East [see the autobiography above for a
discussion of the part connecting us to India]. The evidence in the book, as
far as the Bat Creek inscription goes, has been more of less discredited.
But, the rest of the discussion make a lot of sense to me.
