If you are a Protestant, saying that the reason you don't Judaism
is because your Church teaches you not to doesn't make sense.

For Protestant we believe that the Bible is our source of authority,
not Church tradition, and their are arguments both for and against
the need for practicing Judaism in the Bible.

The Old Testament, for instance, Psalm 103 and 119 is full of verses
telling us the need to learn, teach, practice God's instructions
(such as observing the Sabbath on Saturday, praying with the Jewish community
using the yearly liturgy in the Torah.)

The New Testament however teaches us that this is not necessarily for our
salvation [this depends on our faith in Jesus Christ].
But, it does not say attending Christian Churches, and developing theological
doctrines which make a different way [not necessarily the only way] to follow
to gain this salvation will last forever.

In fact, St. Paul in his letters to the Romans has taught us that the day when
Jews are grafted into the Christian Tree of Life is coming [soon I hope and I
hope my friend St. Paul hopes this to].

And, in the Gospels, Jesus Himself does not teach that the wisdom, spiritual
understanding that we find by following God's commandments and teachings
about the Mitzwahs in the Old Testament is not an important part of God and
Himself [Who He is].
